东日本大地震9年后的宫城县，发生了连环杀人案件，在警察笘篠（阿部宽饰）的追查中，因为帮朋友而引发纵火伤人事件入狱，现在刚出狱不久的利根（佐藤健饰）成为嫌疑人。在没有决定性证据的情况下，又发生了新的案件。
讲述的都是一些平常生活中的家常，后半段讲了他在电脑上看了三段电影，三个小故事隐约透露出爱情需要把握，不要等到离开了才后悔。
